Hi Jonna! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by with your question.
I checked the official Disneyland website and can confirm that tickets for
Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite are currently sold out. Unfortunately, once an event reaches capacity, there isn’t a guaranteed way to purchase additional tickets. I know that’s not the news anyone hopes to hear, especially for such a popular and romantic evening. That said, my best tip is to keep an eye on the official
Disneyland ticketing page. On rare occasions, tickets may reappear if orders are canceled or inventory is adjusted. It doesn’t happen often, but a little persistence (and perhaps a sprinkle of pixie dust) can sometimes work in your favor.
If your plans are flexible, there are still other special-ticketed experiences that might be a wonderful fit. Tickets remain available for the
“70 Years of Favorites” Disneyland After Dark event, taking place on March 3 and March 5. This celebration highlights beloved Disneyland memories from across seven decades and includes themed entertainment, specialty food offerings, and exclusive merchandise. Guests can dance the night away at the Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace or enjoy some classic line dancing at The Golden Horseshoe, making it a nostalgic and lively way to experience Disneyland after hours.
Beyond after-dark events, there’s also plenty happening during the day across the resort. With a standard theme park ticket, you can join in celebrating
Disney California Adventure’s 25th anniversary. Beginning February 6, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will greet Guests on Buena Vista Street in all-new outfits inspired by the park’s history, complete with sunny motifs and vibrant colors that nod to its original debut. One especially exciting highlight is the limited-time return of
Soarin’ Over California. As a Q-Tip, I highly recommend prioritizing this attraction if it’s available during your visit. As you glide over the Golden State, keep an eye (and nose!) out for sights and scents that make this version of the attraction truly unique.
While it’s always disappointing to miss out on a favorite event, the good news is that the Disneyland Resort is filled with memorable experiences from morning through night. With a little flexibility, you’ll still find plenty of ways to make your visit feel special and unforgettable.
Wishing you all the treats and fun during your time at the Disneyland Resort!
