Hi Brooke. Is this the night? Yes, it's a beautiful night to ask a question at planDisney. And we call it...bella notte! Just kidding, every night is a beautiful night to ask us your Disney vacation planning questions!
Sweethearts' Nite is one of
Disneyland Resort's
Disneyland After Dark events that is usually hosted leading up to, and around, Valentine's Day. At this time, this particular event is not offered at the
Walt Disney World Resort. But some wonderful
After Hours events are offered at various times of the year, as well as the classic seasonal offerings like
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!
But fear not, Brooke. While I'd love to see an event like Sweethearts' Nite at the Walt Disney World Resort, you certainly don't need an after-hours event to have a romantic night with your sweetheart. I always say that there is nothing more romantic than a nighttime stroll, hand-in-hand, around the World Showcase at
EPCOT, especially when there's a festival going on. And the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is usually running around that time of year so you'll want to follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog to see if it's being offered once again around Valentine's Day in 2024.
There's also something romantic about walking around
any of the theme parks at night...and
Magic Kingdom Park is no exception. The lights of Main Street, U.S.A., a romantic dinner at
Be Our Guest Restaurant, some classic attractions like
"it's a small world" and
Peter Pan's Flight. And don't forget the
sweet desserts! After all, many locations around the resort usually offer specialty snacks to commemorate the sweetest of holidays. Just take a look at last year's
Foodie Guide to get an idea of what might be offered around this time of year.
In short, while we can hope for a sweetheart-themed after-hours event to make it to the East Coast, we don't have to wait to celebrate with the ones we love. After all, doing things we cherish together, especially in a place we love so much, is the sweetest way to celebrate of all.
And don't forget to say, "I love you." It has power. It has magic. And I've been lucky enough to know a lot of magic in my lifetime. But never anything as strong as love power. Use it to tell a story of how much you mean to each other.
Reach out with any other questions. We're always here.
Find the song inside you,
Matt
