Hi Kiersten,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! Missing out on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party sounds
frightening, so let’s go over your sister’s options.
Unfortunately,
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. However, your sister may be able to select another available party date and change her ticket to that night. If there is an increase in price, she will need to pay the difference. There are still several party dates available in September and October, so perhaps there is one that works better?
If your sister cannot attend any of the Halloween parties, a Cast Member informed me that you may apply the cost of the Halloween party ticket towards a different
special event ticket. For example,
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and
Disney Jollywood Nights tickets are on sale now, maybe your spooky gift can be a merry one instead! Tickets for these holiday events are subject to availability, so your sister will want to decide as soon as possible to ensure she can attend a date that fits her schedule.
To change the date of her Halloween party ticket, or to apply her ticket to a new special event, your sister will need to call and speak to a Cast Member at the number listed under “
Existing Tickets.”
I hope your sister can find a way to enjoy your gift, Kiersten! There’s nothing better than making memories with your friends and family at Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any more questions, you can
send them to me here at planDisney!
