Waving hello to you, Marci!
Thanks for bringing your question to us today. I'm happy to assist.
My family has enjoyed two prior land and sea vacations combining a visit to
Walt Disney World Resort with a
Disney Cruise Line sailing. In my opinion, it's the ultimate way to enjoy excitement and relaxation all in one trip. We love soaking up the magic as we race around the parks and then let ourselves truly unwind with a poolside cocktail once we step on board.
If you are sailing on a Disney Cruise Line itinerary from Port Canaveral you can add
ground transportation from your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel to the port. You'd need to
contact a Crew Member by phone to add this to your cruise reservation. If you are sailing with another cruise line you'll need to reserve your own transportation to the departure port. We typically drive and park our vehicle at the port while sailing, but third-party ride-share services should be able to transport you between destinations.
Did you know that you can use your
MagicBand+ to enter the parks and unlock your resort room door
and enjoy some of the same functionality on select Disney Cruise Line ships and itineraries? We missed this feature by a few weeks on our last voyage, but I'm eager to use my MagicBand+ as a
DisneyBand+ the next time we're at sea.
Marci, I hope this was helpful. If you have additional planning questions please come back and let us know. If you'd like more personalized guidance about your upcoming sailing you can also reach out to
Tracie,
Shannon, or
JoVonn, our planDisney cruise specialists. They are experts and would be happy to share their treasure chest full of knowledge.
Magic and memories,
Amy
