    Will the storm along bay pool be closed anytime this weekend? Thank you.

    Ahoy there, Lee,

    Welcome to planDisney! You are about to embark on one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort adventures at Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts!

    You will be happy to know that no scurvy pirates will derail your time at Stormalong Bay since the pool is scheduled to be open this weekend (of course, this could change based on unforeseen weather or circumstances). The only closure currently on the calendar is January 2025 through May 2025 when the pool will be closed for routine maintenance. Lee, did you know that Stormalong Bay's 230-foot-long waterslide is one of the highest hotel slides at Walt Disney World? You will be cruising down it in no time!

    I have a couple of tips for you to help you enjoy your time. First, be sure to check with the Recreation Hosts and the signage around the pool for information about themed pool parties and fun activities that hosted by swash-buckling Cast Members. Now, all that fun will have you hankering for some refreshments so consider making a dining reservation at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop. I love the Beaches & Cream Grilled Cheese with a side of plant-based tater tots followed by one of the many decadent ice cream sundaes or floats.
