We are staying in a WDW hotel and are excited to use the extra magic hours. Will the bus be running early enough to get to Animal Kingdom from Carribean Beach to enjoy the extra time??

    Hi Warren,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad that you stopped by for help with planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I see that you're just a little bit over a month away from your magical visit, and I bet you're counting down the days to all of the magic and fun. It will be here before you know it, and soon, all of your Disney dreams will come true! SO exciting!

One of the many perks of staying at a Disney Resort hotel is having access to Extra Magic Hours, where a theme park opens one hour early or stays open two hours late for Resort hotel Guests. My family loves taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours. I mean, what's not to love...our favorite attractions with smaller crowds and shorter wait times? Yes, please! I'm happy to let you know that yes, Disney's complimentary Resort transportation begins running at least 45 minutes before the theme park opens, so if Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park has Extra Magic Hours beginning at 8:00 a.m., buses will begin heading that way from your Resort hotel around 7:15 a.m., if not a little earlier. Did you know that you can track when the next bus should arrive at your Disney Resort hotel with the My Disney Experience mobile app? It's definitely a huge help as you're preparing for your magical day!

Thanks for bringing us your question, Warren, and please feel free to come see us again if you have any other Disney questions. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation next month!
