Greetings, Amanda! Thank you for visiting us here at planDisney! I am so happy to answer this question for you as I just returned from a stay at the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel myself!
As you may have seen when booking your vacation to Disney World, there are multiple Disney Resorts Collection hotel categories to choose from: Deluxe Villas, Deluxe Resort Hotels, Moderate Resort Hotels, Value Resort Hotels, and Campgrounds. Additionally, you can choose from the “Other Select Deluxe Hotels” category, which includes the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and Walt Disney World Swan Reserve. These hotels are conveniently located near
Disney’s BoardWalk and include complimentary theme park parking, Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, and
complimentary transportation.
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests can take advantage of a 30-minute head start at the Theme Parks every day. Head to the
Hours & Events Calendar, plug in your dates, and you will see when you can access the fun! Pro tip: get to the parks 30 minutes before the 30-minute Early Entry so you can be one of the first to enter the park and get on your favorite ride with little to no wait.
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are on select nights at select Theme Parks and are reserved for Guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, or other select hotels. As mentioned above, the Dolphin Hotel falls into the “other select hotels” category, so you will be able to take advantage of this as well if it is offered during your stay. Typically, this is an additional two hours in the park, a great time to enjoy your favorite rides once the hot Florida sun has gone down.
Do you want to know the best part? You will not have to do anything special to take advantage of these perks. Since your Disney Resort reservation will be linked to your MyDisney account, your
MagicBand, MagicBand+,
Disney MagicMobile Service, or Key to the World Card will tell the Cast Members all they need to know. Simply follow the signs in the morning to Early Entry so a Cast Member can confirm you as a Guest, and you will be free to enjoy the attractions. For the Extended Evening hours, you should expect to have a Cast Member scan before each ride once the park closes. This is how Disney can determine who qualifies for the added benefit of extended hours.
If you have any additional questions, Amanda,
let me know. I’d be happy to share my favorite snacks, dining locations, and attractions to help you make your visit memorable! Be sure to check out
Rosa Mexicano. After a long day at the parks, nothing is better than a delicious margarita, chips, and guacamole.
See you real soon!
