Hi Valerianne!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with such a great question! Using the
Early Theme Park Entry benefit available to Guests staying in the
Disney Resorts Collection is a smart way to try and get ahead of some of the crowds in the parks. Let's take a look at how to make the most of your time!
Valerianne, since you're staying at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, you can enjoy
complimentary resort transportation to the theme parks. Typically, the
buses begin running to the theme parks about 45 minutes before that Early Entry time, but I suggest being out at your resort bus stop at least an hour before you can enter the park, as sometimes the buses do start running a bit earlier. I recommend confirming the
park operating hours on the website or in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App the day before so you know what time to set your alarm in the morning!
Once you arrive at
EPCOT and pass through security, make sure to check the signs or confirm with a Cast Member that you are entering a line for Early Entry. Cast Members at the gates will be scanning Guests with Early Entry ahead of that listed opening time, and then you will be held inside the park until Early Theme Park Entry officially begins. Many people are trying to head to
Frozen Ever After or
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure during Early Entry, so you'll want to make sure you're following the right group to head towards your ride of choice!
If Frozen Ever After is a must-ride for your family and you are unable to make rope drop work for your travel plans, don't forget that you can always consider purchasing a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your day at EPCOT. Before purchasing, you can check availability and make your selections so you'll know whether or not you can secure a time for this popular attraction!
If you have any princess fans in your group, you may want to try and visit Anna and Elsa at
Royal Sommerhus while you're over towards Norway! It's a great opportunity to meet both of these royal sisters after you have visited Arendelle on Frozen Ever After. I also have to share that one of my favorite snack locations in EPCOT is in Norway as well -
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. After the excitement of rope drop, I suggest stopping by this cute little bakery to refuel with a Kristoff Kafe and some of their famous School Bread or Eplekake!
Valerianne, I hope this information has been helpful, and I'm sending lots of happy thoughts your way for a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
See ya real soon!
