Hi Loren!
Welcome back to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is getting closer and closer every day and, as my friend Princess Tiana would say, you're
Almost There! I'm so glad you stopped by to see us again before your trip to dish on one of my favorite topics - dining at Disney!
Loren, I can tell you and I would be great travel buddies as I'm also a big fan of dining packages. I love that I can enjoy a fantastic meal and guarantee great seating for some of my favorite shows. It looks like you have been doing your homework, and I'm happy to confirm that you can currently use the
Disney Dining Plan for both the
Candlelight Processional Dining Package and the
Fantasmic! Dining Package. If you ask me, these are also great values as both of the restaurants you have selected for your packages,
Biergarten Restaurant and
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant, will only redeem one Table-Service credit from your dining plan allotment. You are also correct in your understanding that the
Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Plan does not accept the Disney Dining Plan at this time.
If you're looking to make the most out of your Table-Service meals, you may also want to consider
character dining. These experiences are often a bit pricier than other meals since you have the added value of time with some of your favorite characters. However, many character dining locations only redeem one Table-Service meal on the dining plan, including one of my favorites,
Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT. This all-you-care-to-enjoy meal is also served family-style so you can sit back and relax while enjoying your character dining experience. Not only do you get to enjoy some wonderful options, but you can also dine in a unique setting as the restaurant rotates (don't worry - it's a super slow rotation) throughout the scenes from
Living with the Land. If you are considering character dining on the Disney Dining Plan, you can confirm the number of Table-Service meals redeemed for each experience by clicking on "View Dining Plans and Discounts" when you view each restaurant on the Walt Disney World Resort website.
Don't forget that during your vacation, you can easily view and track all of your dining plan information in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. You can find this information listed along with your hotel information.
Loren, I hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort next week! You are always welcome to be our guest here at planDisney, so please stop by again if you have any other questions!
Bon Appétit!
