Jason, you’ve picked a great resort to call “home” for the holidays.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a popular choice for its laid-back beach vibes and easy access to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, thanks to the
Disney Skyliner. If you'd like to request a room in Aruba, you can easily do so with a
phone call to Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. While room requests are not guaranteed, I've found Cast Members do their best to accommodate when possible! Here's a little tip, if you end up with a room in Aruba, you'll likely find yourself conveniently located between the Skyliner station at Caribbean Beach as well as the one at
Disney's Riviera Resort. If you're heading to EPCOT, you'll likely save a little time by walking to the Riviera Skyliner station, but the Caribbean Beach Skyliner station will still be your best bet for a direct flight to Hollywood Studios!
For a little extra holiday magic, I suggest trying to plan a special experience that morning. Room service is not available at Caribbean Beach, but you may want to check for any availability at a
character dining experience. Is there a better way to say "Merry Christmas" than with Mickey waffles and maybe even the main mouse himself? You'll find options in each of the four theme parks as well as at several resorts outside of the parks. Two of my favorites are
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT and
Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe in Disney's Beach Club Resort. If you don't see any reservations available now, I'd encourage you to keep checking, as plans for other Guests may sometimes change closer to your arrival.
Another option may be to give a
Disney Gift Card to each of your kids on Christmas morning so they can go shopping in the parks for something special. Whether it's a new toy or a special pair of ears, I'm sure they'll find something they love! We've done this for birthday celebrations and it's been a big hit!
