Hello Tanya,
Thanks for stopping by with your question about renting a mobility scooter for your April trip. Before you know it, the snow will be melting, and you'll be leaving your winter boots in the closet and heading to Walt Disney World! Let’s get you all set for a smooth and magical visit.
I’m so excited for you to experience a Treehouse Villa at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa - you’re in for a special stay! My planDisney friends and I had a reunion trip there last fall, and we loved staying there. The Treehouses were perfect for our larger group, giving us plenty of space to relax after long park days. While we didn’t fully take advantage of the kitchen, we did enjoy breakfast together in our Villa each morning before heading out for the day. One of my favourite things about staying in a Treehouse Villa was the privacy - you feel tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the parks and even the rest of the resort. If you’re lucky, you might even be assigned a Villa along the Sassagoula River, like we did, which made the setting even more peaceful. I can’t wait for you to experience the magic of it all!
Several of the Treehouse Villas are wheelchair accessible, featuring a ramp leading up to the deck and entrance - perfect for ensuring a comfortable stay! If you need a personal mobility device during your visit, you can rent from a local provider. Just be sure to check whether you’ll need to be present for delivery.
For added convenience, if you rent through ScooterBug, Disney’s featured provider, you don’t need to be there when your scooter is delivered. It will be dropped off at Bell Services, making pickup easy. When you arrive, you can inquire about having it delivered directly to your Treehouse Villa.
Bell Services is located at The Carriage House, and if you're taking Disney transportation, just hop off at The Springs bus stop - it’s just a short walk away!
While you're visiting Disney World, I recommend checking out the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. There is so much to see and do! The topiaries of beloved Disney Characters are stunning, and I love spotting my favourites as I wander through the park. Snacking my way around the World Showcase is a must - there are so many seasonal bites to try at the Outdoor Kitchens! I never skip the
Garden Rocks Concert Series, there's something special about enjoying live music at the America Gardens Theatre. There are multiple showtimes each day so you can see which showtime works with your schedule.
Tanya, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. I hope you have a wonderful trip to Disney World. If you have any other questions,
please let me know!
Enjoy making magical memories,
Candace
