I love Port Orleans - Riverside and its sister resort, Port Orleans - French Quarter. Both are beautifully themed, have great pools and restaurants, and have access to the water taxi on the Sassagoula River, which is a great perk. The water taxis begin leaving the resorts around 10:00 AM, and the last boat leaves Disney Springs at 11:30 PM.
It’s important to remember that transportation schedules are subject to change, and water taxi availability is subject to water and weather conditions. You can check if water taxis are running by asking a Cast Member at your resort or looking up directions on the My Disney Experience mobile app. The app will show you all the available routes using complimentary resort transportation, including water taxis, as well as estimated travel times.
