Port Orleans Riverside Pool

    We'll be staying at Port Orleans Riverside in Feb. So much has changed since our last visit eight years ago! I want to order groceries through Amazon. What do I need to know? Is there someone who could walk me through the steps? Any tips or tricks?

    Hi Mariah!

    Welcome to planDisney and welcome back to Walt Disney World Resort!  While many things have changed in the eight years since your last visit, I'm sure you'll find that magical feeling when you start your vacation to be exactly the same!

    You're going to love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside!  My husband and I stayed here several years ago and fell in love with the laid-back feeling.  One of my favorite pictures from that trip is sliding down the water slide acting like the biggest kid around! I also really enjoyed taking the water transportation over to Disney Springs to grab a bite to eat and do a bit of shopping.  

    Now that I've gushed over this fabulous resort, let's get to answering your question!  Ordering grocery delivery to your resort hotel is a great option for guests and is super simple.  Groceries delivered to Bell Services or Luggage Assistance can be picked up at no charge or delivered directly to your room by Bell Services staff for a small fee.  If you are ordering an Amazon package and not a specific grocery delivery, you will want to note the full mailing address of your resort and include your name with the word "guest" so that it gets directed to the right place.  Currently, there is a small fee for receiving mailed packages at your resort.  Before placing your order, I'd encourage you to check out the information about Mail Services available on the Walt Disney World Resort website to review the most current information on grocery and package delivery as there are some important details if your order requires ID or age verification.  

    Mariah, I hope this information is helpful as you make final preparations for your upcoming vacation! While at Walt Disney World Resort, I'd also recommend taking time to enjoy all that the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has to offer.  I was there last year for this festival and loved exploring all of the culinary, visual, and performing arts on display!
