Hiya Pal!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, where we love answering questions about the magic of a Disney vacation. I know our friend Mickey Mouse loves having Pluto along on his adventures. I love that you are taking advantage of one of the
Dog-Friendly Resort hotels available in
Walt Disney World so you can bring along your furry friend for yours!
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is one of four Disney Resort hotels that have dog-friendly accommodations. The other three are
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort,
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. These resorts have designated outdoor walkways for exercise and pet relief areas. Dogs must be well-behaved and leashed in public areas and walkways. Only certain floors and areas of these specified resorts are designated as dog-friendly, with dogs not allowed in most areas of the hotel. Most common areas remain canine-free for the sake of Guests with allergies or other needs. The Disney Resort hotels and common areas of the resorts that are not dog-friendly only allow service animals. Your dog is welcome to travel with you in a pet carrier throughout Walt Disney World via
Minnie Van Service. Only service animals are allowed on
Disney Transportation motor coaches, monorails, watercraft, and Disney Skyliner.
I hope this information helps you navigate your
Walt Disney World vacation with your canine friend! If we can answer any more of your vacation questions, please come back here to planDisney. We are here to help!
