Hi Kayla,
Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels are an excellent option for staying close to the magic of Disney World. They often provide some of the same benefits as staying in an officially owned and operated Disney Resort hotel and provide quality accommodations for your vacation. Unfortunately, the ability to add a Disney dining plan is only available to guests staying at an official Disney World Resort hotel.
One benefit you do have that I would take advantage of is
Early Theme Park Entry. This gives you the ability to enter the theme parks 30 minutes before guests not staying at Disney Resort hotels and get a jump on getting in line for your favorite attraction. I love being able to arrive a little early because I also find I can get a few pictures in front of iconic locations like Cinderella Castle with fewer people in the background.
Another great benefit is that your Good Neighbor Hotel will also provide transportation directly to Disney's theme parks. I hate driving on vacation so this is also a huge plus for me and can save you money since you won't be paying for theme park parking. Make sure to check with your specific hotel because some do charge a fee for transportation to the theme parks.
Since you mentioned an interest in dining while you are at Disney World, my favorite Disney World timesaver is using
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering at all quick-service dining locations. This service allows you to order food directly on your phone in the
My Disney Experience app before you arrive at a dining location and then simply click the button to let them know you have arrived. You can sit down, relax, and wait for your food to be ready instead of waiting in line to order meals.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
