Jocylynne, I just spoke to a DVC Cast Member and they informed me that DVC will be hosting a different dessert party other than the usual Wicked Wind Down. You probably already know this since you booked it! I also asked them about the ability to park and unfortunately DVC Members attending the party and not staying at Bay Lake Tower cannot park at the Resort. Instead, the DVC Cast Member suggested that Members rely on
Walt Disney World Transportation to get to Bay Lake Tower.
Since you’re looking for some recommended transportation options apart from rideshare services, the easiest would be to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom. From there, you can either walk to Bay Lake Tower or take the Resort Monorail Loop one stop to Disney’s Contemporary Resort and walk over to Bay Lake Tower from there.
