We will be staying at the Grand Floridian in a studio room this June. Does the little flip down bed under the TV have a safety railing. I saw a picture and saw a rail but wasn't sure if it was just the handle to pull it down or an actual rail.

    Hi Kathleen,

The Grand Floridian is a beautiful resort! Designed with with the Victorian area in mind, it is only a monorail or boat ride to the Magic Kingdom.

I love the idea of a murphy bed at any resort! The flexibility to have another sleeping space is a great idea.

While the murphy bed does not have a safety railing, you can make a request for one when you do your online check-in. They are available at the resort for guests to use.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
