My name is Beth C. and I love Disney. Since I can remember Disney has been a part of my life including my first movie in the theater – “The Aristocats.” I am originally from Pennsylvania, but now call Long Island, NY, my home. I graduated from Temple University, worked for a homeless agency and entered early retirement for 10 years to stay at home with my two daughters. The airline industry brought me out of retirement and I spend my days coordinating logistics for crewmembers to attend training in our corporate university. I love to bake, but cooking is a challenge. I would read 24/7 if I could.
About My Family
I have been married for 22 years to my husband, Jim, whom I met at Temple. It is his inability to sit for seven days on a beach that necessitates my trips to Walt Disney World. We honeymooned there and whenever we need to get away to a sunny spot, Disney seems to be the best option. Our two daughters have visited more than 20 times including four trips in one year. The Disney Vacation Club makes it too easy to visit! My oldest daughter, Jessica, has inherited my love for reading and my younger daughter, Nicole, had the opportunity to dance at the Magic Kingdom. We have been on the Disney Cruise, Disneyland and Aulani. If you ask anyone in the family where they want to go on vacation, it is always Disney!
About My Disney Experience
Owning two Disney Vacation Club (DVC) properties, the Boardwalk and Saratoga Springs, allows my family the ability to stay at the Walt Disney World Resorts every year. This would not be an option without DVC. We have even used our points to travel twice on the Disney Cruise Line and once to DVC's newest resort, Aulani in Hawaii and Disneyland the original Happiest Place on Earth. Since joining in 1999, we have shared the magic of Disney with our extended family. Having visited the Walt Disney World Resort with parties of different sizes and people of all ages, planning a trip is easier now. I have been there with diapers and strollers, as well as without. However, the one thing I have learned is that if I know what keeps my traveling companions happy, everyone has a better time.
