Hiya, Wendy! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for sharing your question with us. I’m sure you’re excitedly counting down the days, hours, and minutes until your Walt Disney World holiday. Before you know it, you’ll be immersed in the magic, enjoying everything the Vacation Kingdom of the World has to offer. So let’s dive in and find the information you’re looking for!
Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools and water play areas are reserved for guests staying at that specific hotel, and many require a hotel key card, MagicBand, or other proof of reservation to access. Unfortunately, that means you would not be able to swim at the Polynesian Village Resort’s pool after your character breakfast at ‘Ohana.
The good news, though, is that both Port Orleans - French Quarter and Caribbean Beach Resort have fantastic pools for you to enjoy. Not only do guests at Port Orleans - French Quarter have access to the Mardi Gras-themed Doubloon Lagoon, but they can also enjoy
Ol’ Man Island pool complex at the nearby Port Orleans - Riverside. Over at Caribbean Beach Resort, you’ll find 5 leisure pools and the
Fuentes del Morro pool, which features a 102-foot-long water slide and spray cannons. It’s one of the most epic pools of any Walt Disney World Resort hotel!
I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Wendy. Don’t hesitate to come back to planDisney if you have additional questions. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
