    Does staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort qualify us for the Epcot Extended Hours on 10/23? Also, is the World Showcase open during the extended hours?

    Hello Marian!

    Welcome to planDisney. I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in less than two weeks. The resort's Gran Destino Tower is one of my favorite places to stay at Walt Disney World Resort and features a number of unique dining options which I mentioned along with some other fun facts in a recent answer. I just know you'll enjoy your stay at this beautiful resort!

    Though Coronado Springs is an exceptional Moderate Resort with deluxe vibes, a stay here unfortunately won't qualify you for the Extended Evening Theme Park hours which are reserved for guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Deluxe Villa Resorts. Extended Evening hours should continue to be offered in 2024, so hopefully you'll be able to enjoy them on a future visit. You can review the Hours & Events Calendar for the most up-to-date information on park hours and special offerings.

    Though a number of attractions like Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After are scheduled to be available during Extended Evening hours, a Cast Member confirmed that Global Marketplaces, dining venues and other experiences around World Showcase would not be open. This was also the case when we attended Disney After Hours at EPCOT earlier this summer. As my pal LeAndra mentions, snack carts around the park will likely be open, but if guests have their heart set on a table service restaurant or particular items from EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival they should plan to enjoy them during normal park hours. 

    I know this is likely not the answer you hoped for, but I'm confident you'll still enjoy plenty of magic during your upcoming stay. If we can offer any additional planning assistance please come back and let us know.
