Bikes at the Boardwalk

Staying at Disney's Boardwalk May 19-24 (and have park hopper passes for May 20-23), can I make dining reservations for all of those days on March 20 (60 days bf 1st day of my trip) or must I go online each day to make a res 60 days out? If so, how?

    Hello Lisa!

I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney. You're in good hands with this particular question because not only do I love Disney's BoardWalk Inn (so much so that I recently made its Villas one of my Disney Vacation Club home resorts) but I also consider myself quite the Disney Parks foodie, too. Let's dig into all the details together, course by course.

One of the perks of staying in the middle of the magic at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is the ability to make advance dining reservations for your length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before check-in. Just be sure your Vacation Package is linked to your My Disney Experience Account and you can reserve meals for each day of your stay tomorrow morning beginning around 6 a.m. I love grabbing a cup of coffee and getting to work on our magical dining plans all in one go!

Recent updates have made booking dining reservations even easier and guests now have the option to search for availability at individual restaurants over a 10-day period. This is a game-changer when it comes to securing a spot at hard-to-get dining venues. Instead of refreshing the results day by day, simply navigate to the restaurant page, click the "Check Available Days" button and select your preferred days to search within the selectable range. You'll be on your way to Mickey-shaped waffles, Character meals and Signature dining before you can say "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!"

Now, if you're looking for some dining recommendations Flying Fish is one of my all-time favorites and located right on Disney's BoardWalk. The setting is stunning but the menu is even more superb. If you're looking to dine with your favorite Disney pals I'd also recommend visiting Minnie at her Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe just across Crescent Lake at Disney's Beach Club Resort. When the craving for a scoop (or 8) of some delicious ice cream strikes, grab your crew and tackle the Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. I tried one recently and it was pretty amazing, even though we definitely couldn't finish it. Both of these locations are very popular so you'll want to secure reservations as soon as possible if you'd like to experience them during your trip.

After you've dined and indulged to your heart's content, take a leisurely stroll around Crescent Lake to admire the peaceful atmosphere and gentle breezes. If you're up for an adventure you might want to rent a Surrey Bike to cruise around the path. It's a surefire way to burn off a big meal while enjoying plenty of laughs with your travel party.

I hope this was helpful Lisa! If we can answer any additional questions please come back and let us know.

    Bon Appétit!
