We're so happy that you could submit another question to us and how exciting for you to be planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort over the
Holiday Season!
I'm afraid that you are correct. There used to be a package delivery service which would deliver in-park purchases directly to your Disneyland Resort Hotel room but that service is no longer available and there are no updates about this option returning. I even spoke to a Cast Member and confirmed that this information is current at the time of this writing.
You have another option, however.
Package Checking Service is offered at various locations throughout both Parks and at the Resort Stroller Shop in the Esplanade. With this feature, you may leave your purchases for the day (be sure to keep your receipt!) with a Cast Member and pick them up before the Park closes. My Cast Member contact mentioned that some locations will only hold packages purchased at that store only, so you might want to double check with them once you arrive. Also, I've found
Locker Rentals to be lifesavers if I want to avoid carrying something around all day.
Which Disneyland Resort Hotel did you select for your trip? I love the Holiday decorations in the lobby of
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The atmosphere there is always so festive. You never know when you might just walk in on strolling carolers. My favorite thing to do is to grab a cup of hot chocolate (Joffrey's... yum!) from
GCH Craftsman Grill and sit by the fire.
