Welcome to planDisney, Brian!
I love, love, LOVE
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Having personally stayed at Grand Destino Tower last year, I guarantee you'll love it. The Dig Site Pool is fantastic! It's big and great for families to swim and play together. There's even a volleyball court right next to the pool area too. The dining options are very impressive at Coronado Springs.
Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood is a superb restaurant for that special occasion. The view is majestic! Then you have the
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago. Not only is the food delicious, but the setting is very relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. If you want to enjoy a pleasant drink one evening, head up to
Dahlia Lounge. As Abuela from Encanto says, "The Magic is strong — and so are the drinks!" Again, the views are amazing! Finally, I really loved ordering a Spanish-inspired coffee and a pastry every morning at
Barcelona Lounge. Your taste buds can't go wrong with any of these options.
The rooms at Disney's Coronado Springs all have a Keurig Coffee Maker. You'll also discover a healthy supply of Joffrey's K-Cups (regular and decaf), as well as creamer, sugar, and stirrers, plus extra cups. If you need a break from coffee, you'll also find Twinings tea bags. As Mrs. Potts once said, “I have found that most troubles seem less troubling after a bracing cup of tea.” As an Englishman, I heartily agree! During your stay, housekeeping will frequently replenish your coffee and tea supplies. However, if you need extra, you can always call from your in-room phone and they'll be happy to serve you. There aren't any microwaves in the hotel rooms, I'm afraid. However, you can find microwaves in
El Mercado de Coronado.
I hope that's informative, Brian. Have a great trip and enjoy every magical moment.
Mike
