Hi, staying at Coronado, after DAK closes at 7, we want to watch Luminous from Y&B lighthouse dock and eat at Beaches&Cream. We will bus from DAK-Y&B, is there any convenient/fast route back from there to Coronado? On 7/16. Or should we Uber?

    Hi Patrick,

Welcome to planDisney! You'll be inside the magic at Walt Disney World in a few short days, so I'm happy to help you put the final touches on your supercalifragilistic plans.

You've got a couple of options to return to the Coronado Springs resort from the Yacht & Beach Club. As you noted, rideshare or Minnie Van services are available and usually are a pretty quick and easy way to travel between resorts.

I have found, however, that they get busy and may have a longer wait at the end of the evening when lots of guests are leaving Epcot after Luminous. Once the rideshare arrives, the drive from Yacht Club to Coronado is only about 10 minutes

If you don't mind a few more steps -- or need to walk off a Kitchen Sink sundae from Beaches & Cream -- your best option using the complimentary Disney transportation is to take the footpath from the Yacht Club to the bus station at Hollywood Studios. Hollywood Studios is open until 10 pm that evening, so buses will be running to Coronado Springs from there until at least 11 pm.

My family does this often. We find the 15- to 20-minute walk along the water is a pleasant, efficient way to go between the Boardwalk resorts area and Hollywood Studios, especially in the evening or when the weather is cooler.

My favorite way to end the day at Coronado Springs is with warm churros and the expansive view at the rooftop Dahlia Lounge or a nightcap at the gorgeous Barcelona Lounge

Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, Patrick, and please let us know if we can help with your plans for this or future Walt Disney World vacations.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
