Aloha, Heather, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you popped by with your question.
At
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, every day is like an island retreat! In the mornings, you'll wake up surrounded by palm trees, tropical flowers, and blissfully beachy vibes. At night? Meander quiet torchlit pathways, with a delicious DOLE Whip in hand. There's just nothing like the "island" magic of this pixie-dusted paradise!
Heather, the Polynesian is one of my family's favorite
Disney Resort Collection hotels. We actually stayed there just last month, and the mornings we spent relaxing at the resort were some of my favorite moments. Of course, anyone who's ever visited Walt Disney World with me knows that some days, relaxation
isn't the goal. Some days, my friend, we are IN IT TO WIN IT! And those days always (always!) begin with
Early Theme Park Entry.
Now, one of the best things about the Polynesian is that it's located on the
monorail loop. This makes it SO easy to get to EPCOT in time for Early Entry! From the Polynesian, walk from the resort to the Transportation & Ticket Center. You'll find the pathway on the east side of the property, between the Moorea and Pago Pago longhouses (for reference,
check out the resort map right here). Be aware that you'll go through security as you enter the Transportation & Ticket Center, instead of at the park entrance.
Pro Tip: Many guests who arrive for Early Entry focus on
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and
Frozen Ever After, which are both located toward the back of the park. However, arriving at EPCOT by monorail means that you'll be dropped off at the
front of the park, which puts you closer to
Test Track. If this high-speed attraction is on your Disney World bucket list, this is a great time to cross it off your list!
I hope this helps, Heather, and that you have an incredible time on your upcoming Disney World vacation. If you have any other questions as you finalize your plans, you know
where to find me right here at planDisney!
Magical travels,
Allison
