During typical operating hours, you should be able to walk from the Transportation and Ticket Center to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I'd keep your room information handy, just in case a Cast Member asks. You should also be able to take the
monorail from
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to
Disney's Contemporary Resort. In fact, I took the monorail many times to the other monorail resorts from the Grand Floridian during my stay just last week. I also walked from Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian in the middle of the day!
Did you know that
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at the Polynesian now typically opens earlier than ever, at 11 a.m.? When we were there a few days ago, there was a Cast Member outside this imaginative lounge at 10:30 a.m., so we gave them our name and phone number. They called us back around 11, and we were the first Guests seated! This is one of my favorite places to visit at the resort. The drinks are creative and delicious, the atmosphere is interactive and fun, and the Cast Member interactions are priceless. I highly recommend checking it out while you're there!
