We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort and plan on going to Chef Mickeys for breakfast on a non park day. What is the quickest way to get there? If we go to magic kingdom can we walk?

Chef Mickey’s! Way to go, Catherine! You secured a dining reservation for one of the most popular Disney Character Dining experiences!

You are absolutely correct in planning out your travel from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney’s Contemporary Resort for your breakfast reservation! I recommend taking bus transportation from your resort to Magic Kingdom Park. You then have two options upon arriving at Magic Kingdom Park. You could make the very short walk from the bus unloading area to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, or you could board the Monorail at Magic Kingdom Park and glide your way into Disney’s Contemporary Resort!

Catherine, one consideration with this plan is timing. I recommend allowing your party plenty of time to make the trip from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Also, I’m not sure of the time of your breakfast reservation, but you’ll want to be sure that all transportation is up and running for this plan to work. This plan should be fine for most reservation times, but if you have a particularly early breakfast reservation you might want to inquire with the concierge desk at your resort regarding the best transportation to Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

    Happy planning!
