Hi Jennifer, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. There’s something extra special about being in Magic Kingdom in the early morning hours! When you get there for breakfast, it’ll be a great time to get a quick picture in front of Cinderella Castle with fewer people in the background. Now, let’s talk about how to get to
Crystal Palace on time!
Officially,
buses begin running between the Disney Resort hotels and theme parks 45 minutes before opening. But, in my experience, sometimes they start running a bit earlier. When you get to
BoardWalk Inn, I’d recommend checking with the front desk to get the latest information on the bus schedule. My fellow panelist,
Jenn J., also suggests asking the
Hey Disney! device in your resort hotel room when the buses to Magic Kingdom begin running. If you decide to use bus transportation, I’d plan to get to the bus stop 15-20 minutes before the start time to ensure you catch that first bus.
However, since your reservation is so early, you may have to take ride-share service to Magic Kingdom that morning. To save time,
Minnie Van Service would be most efficient since it’ll drop you off right near the park entrance, unlike other ride-share services that let you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). If you go with one of the other ride-share services, build in extra time to take the
ferry or
monorail from the TTC to Magic Kingdom.
If guests are still being held at the entrance when you get to Magic Kingdom, let a Cast Member know that you're there for an early breakfast reservation. Sometimes there's a different entry process.
I hope you have a wonderful breakfast with Pooh and friends as you embark on your Magic Kingdom day! And if you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
