We are staying in a Bay Lake Tower preferred view villa. We booked through the WDW Wdtc website, we are not DVC members. Where can we view the MK fireworks? Are we allowed to use the roof top observation deck? Also, so we get daily housekeeping etc? Thanks

    Hey there, Sally,

I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney, and I truly appreciate you sending your question our way! Bay Lake Tower is such a fantastic place to call home during your Walt Disney World vacation. One of the best perks of staying there is the convenient walking path that leads directly to Magic Kingdom. It makes getting to and from the park so quick and easy, especially after a fun-filled day.

When it comes to watching Happily Ever After, one of my favorite viewing locations is the fourth-floor bridge area that connects Disney's Contemporary Resort to Bay Lake Tower. It offers a wonderful view of the fireworks, and the music is piped in, which makes the experience feel even more magical.

Top of the World Lounge – A Villains Lair is another popular fireworks location, but that space is reserved exclusively for eligible Disney Vacation Club Members with access privileges, so it would not be available to all guests staying at Bay Lake Tower.

Another great option would be to book a dining reservation at California Grill. After your meal, you can step out onto the observation deck and enjoy the fireworks from there. It’s a memorable way to combine a delicious dinner with a spectacular nighttime show.

As for housekeeping, or Mousekeeping as we like to call it, Deluxe Villa Resorts receive daily housekeeping service, so you can expect your villa to be refreshed throughout your stay.

Just a friendly reminder that as a Disney Resort Guest, you’ll be able to purchase your Lightning Lane passes beginning 7 days before your check-in date directly through the My Disney Experience app. You’ll also enjoy the benefit of Early Theme Park Entry, which allows you to enter the parks 30 minutes before day guests and get a head start on the magic.

Sally, I hope this helps, and you have the very best trip! If you have any other questions pop up, you're always welcome here at planDisney!
