Boo to you, Katherine!
I'm dreadfully delighted to welcome you back to the (not-so) spookiest panel on Earth...planDisney! I love that you're planning to attend
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It’s one of my favorite
special ticketed events at Walt Disney World.
One of the best parts of the party is that guests of all ages are welcome to dress up in fun costumes. It’s always such a festive atmosphere. My family has gone all out with coordinating themes, and we’ve also kept it simple with themed T-shirts. Either way, it adds to the fun!
It is important to know that during regular park hours,
guests ages 14 and older may not wear costumes inside the parks. That rule still applies even if you have a daytime park reservation for
Magic Kingdom and party tickets for later that evening. You’re absolutely welcome to make it a full day in the park, but you won’t be able to wear your costume until party entry begins at 4:00 PM.
Personally, my family likes to take it easy during the day. We sleep in, enjoy a
breakfast reservation at
one of our favorite spots, and then head to Magic Kingdom right at 4:00 PM. We use those three hours before the party officially begins at 7:00 PM to enjoy some favorite attractions. That way, once the party starts, we can focus on all the exclusive entertainment, treats, and offerings that make this event so special.
While party dates for 2026 have not yet been announced, if I gaze into my crystal ball, I have a feeling we may hear news soon. Your best bet is to keep a watchful eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and
Disney’s Instagram page, as that’s typically where announcements appear first.
Katherine, I hope this helps as you continue planning your trip. Should any other questions materialize, you’re always welcome to
hurrrrry baaaack to planDisney. We’re just dying to help!
From somewhere beyond,
Kami
