Hi Ashley, thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I absolutely love staying at the
Art of Animation Resort and seeing all of my favorite movies come to life!
I often visit
Disney World with my extended family and sometimes stay at different resort hotels. Unfortunately, only registered guests are allowed to use the pools. You are welcome to visit each other’s resort hotels and hang out on the grounds or enjoy a meal at one of the dining locations, like
Landscape of Flavors at Art of Animation. You can also ride the
Skyliner together over to
Topolino's Terrace, where you can find my favorite character breakfast!
Your resort hotel also makes a great backdrop for family pictures too. I love the Cars-themed area at Art of Animation that makes you feel like you’re really on Route 66! You'll find several beloved characters from the movie and even the Cozy Cone Motel. I'd recommend checking it out, even if you’re staying in a different part of the resort.
If your family is drawn to the water like Moana, one of the water parks would be a great place to spend time together. New for 2025,
Disney Resort hotel guests can enjoy water park admission on check-in day, 100% on the Mouse! And if visiting on check-in day doesn’t work with your plans, I love to head to the
water parks on a rest day. It’s a relaxing way to break up multiple busy park days!
I’m wishing you a magical vacation at Disney World with your family! As Elsa sings in Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, “When we’re together, that’s my favorite place to be.”
