We are staying at Art of Animation in a family suite. Will there be a way to freeze reuseable ice packs?

Welcome to planDisney, V! As we all know, some things are worth melting for, but when it comes to your perishable food and medical items, we definitely want those to stay frozen! Let's dive into keeping your ice packs frosty during your Walt Disney World Resort visit.

My family and I have made magical memories at the family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Whether it was a ladies' trip or a romantic getaway with my husband, these suites truly felt like a home away from home. And the cherry on top was the Drop Off Pool Bar, a perfect spot to unwind after a magical day at Disney.

When I stayed in a family suite, the refrigerator had a small freezer shelf perfect for small ice packs. So, you should be all set to refreeze those packs overnight. Nothing beats the heat like staying cool! And if you need more space than the freezer provides, you can stop by Bell Services. They can typically store items in a refrigerator or freezer when space permits.

If you plan to take a cooler into the theme parks, review the list of prohibited items for size requirements. Glass containers and loose ice are not permitted, so your ice packs will be perfect for keeping items cool during your park days.

As Olaf famously sings, "The hot and the cold are both so intense; put 'em together it just makes sense!" So, here's to staying cool in the heat, V! Remember, if you ever need more tips or have any questions, don't hesitate to stop by planDisney.

    Magic awaits,
