Hello there, Gwen, and thanks for this timely question! I made dining reservations for my November visit this morning, so let's talk strategy for your upcoming booking party tomorrow.
Guests can book most dining reservations and experiences in the Enchanting Extras Collection
60 days in advance. Since you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can make reservations for the length of your stay, up to 10 days. This can be a huge advantage, so my first tip is to look for any high-demand experiences for days later in your trip.
The window usually opens at 6:00 AM EST, but I typically set my alarm a few minutes earlier to make sure I'm logged in and wide awake. A steaming Mickey Mouse mug of coffee is my secret weapon!
Another tip is to make sure that your
Disney Resort Hotel stay is linked to your account. You can check this by logging in and viewing the "My Plans" section in your My Disney Experience account. The reservation can be in someone else's name, but as long as you're listed as a guest in that room, you should be able to make reservations for the length of your visit.
Occasionally, the window might go active a little after 6:00 AM for some experiences, so just keep refreshing. I prefer to make reservations online using my laptop, but I also have the
My Disney Experience mobile app open on my phone as a backup. My husband says I look like I'm going into battle with my coffee, notebook, phone, credit card...and maybe a donut. Hey, we have to do whatever it takes to get the job done, right?
If you run into any glitches, feel free to call for assistance at the number listed near the bottom of
this frequently asked questions page about dining. Cast Members can help make reservations for restaurants and other experiences starting at 7:00 AM EST, seven days a week.
My final advice is to keep trying if you can't snag a reservation you're dreaming of. Guests change plans often, and I've had great luck grabbing a dropped booking on my phone. You never know when Tinker Bell will sprinkle a little pixie dust on you!
Gwen, I'm wishing you all the luck in the world tomorrow! I hope you score some fantastic meals to enjoy on your upcoming vacation. Please stop by
planDisney anytime; I'll save a donut for you!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
