Welcome to planDisney! Your vacation is just around the corner, so I'm happy you stopped by with your question about transportation between the Caribbean Beach Resort and Animal Kingdom Lodge.
I'm excited to hear that you are dining at
Sebastian's Bistro on your upcoming Walt Disney World visit. When I've eaten there, I've been impressed with the quality and value of the food. The chili-rubbed beef and the coconut-pineapple bread pudding are my favorite dishes.
Since Sebastian's is served family-style and is all-you-care-to-eat, you set the pace of the meal. The length of your stay will be determined by how leisurely you eat and how many times you ask for seconds.
Generally, though, I'd expect your dinner to last between 60 and 90 minutes. If you are finished by 9:30 or 10, it should be easy to hop on the
Skyliner to Hollywood Studios and catch a bus back to Animal Kingdom Lodge from there.
Hollywood Studios's closing time varies the week of your visit, and schedules can change based on weather and other factors. But, considering the scheduled times of
Fantasmic!,
Extended Evening Hours and
Disney After Hours, it looks like buses should be running from Hollywood Studios until at least 10:30 or 11 pm almost every night.
Buses generally continue for at least an hour after the park closes.
If that feels rushed to you, your other best option would be a
Minnie Van or rideshare. I always use the complimentary Disney transportation whenever possible, but occasionally, after a lovely dinner, I like to splurge on a private ride back to my resort. It's about a 15-minute drive to Animal Kingdom Lodge, so I would expect the rideshare fare to be reasonably inexpensive.
