Welcome to planDisney, my friend! You are probably traveling across the globe as we speak with
Walt Disney World Resort sparkling like pixie dust at the end of your journey. Let's talk about the best way to spend time in the theme parks while you're here.
Staying at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a unique experience that offers many benefits. My niece recently had the pleasure of staying there and was captivated by the horse-racing theme and the gorgeous decor. Did you know you can even walk to Disney Springs for shopping and dining? It's a fabulous choice that's sure to add some "giddy-up" to your stay.
Here's a pro tip for your arrival and departure days: take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry at any of the four theme parks by
checking the calendar for park hours. To make your day even smoother, drop off your luggage at
Bell Services when you arrive at Saratoga Springs and head straight for a theme park.
As long as your Disney Resort Hotel reservation and theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, you should be able to go straight to any theme park entrance and scan in for Early Theme Park Hours. The system will see that you're staying at a Disney resort and allow you to enter early. If you have any problems, please stop by Guest Relations at the theme park entrance for help. The Cast Members there will do everything possible to help you start your day off magically!
If you only have time for a couple of theme parks, I recommend Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. You can't beat that iconic Cinderella Castle view and classic attractions like Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom Park. My husband and I have also become EPCOT fans since this park offers a wide variety of activities. You can watch the dolphins at The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion, sail across the world on Soarin', and then explore all the countries around the World Showcase. I'm curious what you think of the Japan Pavilion because it's one of my favorites! The food at
Shiki Sai: Sushi Izakaya ranks at the top of my list!
I visited Tokyo Disneyland a few years ago and fell in love with those parks and the people there. I hope you find the same welcoming spirit here in the States! Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
