I am logging on at 10.59am and refreshing until the new day appears - booking at the earliest point available- 6 days and having 0 luck booking the Rose and crown fireworks reservation! What am I doing wrong???

Greetings, Diane, and welcome to planDisney! I love talking Disney with a fellow planner, and your visit is just weeks away. I'm sorry to hear you've hit a snag, so let's talk about some ways you can enjoy Luminous The Symphony of Us on your holiday.

My first theory is that the Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package is such a limited offering that it fills up quickly. Only about ten outdoor tables are eligible for this package, which might explain the lack of availability. Since Disney Resort Hotel guests can book for up to 10 days of their visit, anyone checking in before you will have access to those dates first. But never fear! I have some ideas.

Some of my friends from across the pond have had good luck enlisting the help of an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Since many experiences in the Enchanting Extras Collection are not available for our UK guests to book in advance, this might be an option to try. You can also keep checking since guests' plans change all the time, and you can check for day-of availability, although I feel that will be a long shot. Finally, I recommend looking for availability at Spice Road Table since this restaurant also offers a dining package for the fireworks.

Even if you don't secure a reservation for this experience, I have some tips to try. I recently booked dinner at Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya for around 8:15 PM and asked for a table near the large picture windows. When Luminous began at 9:00 PM, the music was broadcast inside the restaurant, and I had a fabulous view of the fireworks across the World Showcase Lagoon. Try the Mt. Fuji specialty cocktail; this pineapple adult beverage was the perfect accompaniment to the show!

Along the same lines, you can head to La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion. This quick-service location has outdoor seating with a view, and you don't need reservations. My tip is to scout out a seat well before showtime and enjoy your meal on the water. My husband loves the Guacamole with Totopos here. And keep an eye out for outdoor seating options scattered around the World Showcase; there really isn't a bad view for Luminous!

Diane, I'm sending up some fireworks and sparklers so you'll have a magical summertime trip. Please stop by planDisney anytime. My pal Sue is an expert at planning visits from the UK!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
