Hello, Sue! It's my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney.
Sue, one of the reasons my family keeps coming back to the Walt Disney World Resort over and over is because it's truly a customizable trip and I'm happy to chat about how you can create a plan that's the perfect fit for you and your traveling party.
First, the quick answer to your question is YES, you can absolutely book a
Disney Resort Hotel stay without park hopper tickets.
Park hopper tickets allow you to visit more than one park on
the same day. Single-day
tickets, which are more budget-friendly, allow you to visit one park per day. And... you can select the number of days you like to use your tickets. So, for example, if you'd like to only visit
Magic Kingdom Park for one day, you'll just need a 1-day, standard ticket
without the park hopper option. The number of days you're visiting the parks is independent of your Disney Resort Hotel stay meaning that you are welcome to have a five-day hotel stay but spend one day inside a park. Many guests
enjoy resort activities in lieu of park time!
Sue, as you continue planning, please keep in mind that in addition to a valid theme park ticket, all guests need a complimentary theme park reservation to enter the park.
Disney Park Pass reservations can be made through your My Disney Experience account immediately after you have purchased a vacation package or ticket.
I hope this helps as you're looking ahead to your next visit. Please come on back to planDisney with any additional questions you might have. Like Tinker Bell, we love to spread pixie dust anytime we can!
