Hi Harry! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question!
I'm excited to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Let's dive into your question and help you book an unforgettable stay.
I have great news for you, Harry! While
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort sleep up to 6 Guests, you are allowed one infant per room which does not count officially toward the total. You will need to include them when booking the reservation, but the website will allow you to continue through with that room type after adding them in. Just to make sure, I tested it out myself a short while ago and it let me add an infant to the reservation along with four adult Guests and two children.
This resort is perfect for families that are looking for a quiet and relaxed stay. After a full day of visiting the theme parks, it's nice to have a serene place to come back to. One of my favorite activities at Fort Wilderness is
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long. This event takes place nightly (weather-dependent) and allows Guests to sit around the campfire roasting marshmallows with a visit from Chip 'n' Dale. After that, you can stick around for Movies Under the Stars, which will be a rotating selection of Disney classics each night. My daughters also loved spending time out by the water and checking out
Tri-Circle-D Ranch when we had some downtime. You can walk through the stables during certain times of the day and even catch a pony ride as well.
Harry, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay!
