    Hi Sharon! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! I'm excited about your stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort in just a couple of months! This is the perfect place to celebrate the holiday season with many of the Guests decorating their campsites and cabins with festive décor. You are in for a magical trip!

You'll be happy to hear that you will have full access to the resort on your checkout day. If you want to utilize any amenities or recreation areas, you'll have the freedom to do so. You will need to move your car from the cabin area since they need to get this space ready for the next Guests that will be arriving. There is a parking lot next to the check-in area at the front of the resort where you can leave your car. This is quite a distance from the boat launch to get to the Magic Kingdom, however, there is an internal bus loop that you can take without having to walk all the way there. The bus runs continuously throughout the day, so you shouldn't have to wait long for it to arrive.

If you decide to drive your vehicle to the Magic Kingdom, you'll be directed to park at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Once here, you can hop on the monorail or ferry boat to get to the park. Either option you choose, there will be multiple forms of Disney Transportation to get you to the park.

Sharon, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming stay! Stop back and see us again at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
