If I rent a preferred campsite that a tent can be setup behind the RV what is the largest size the tent can be

Yee-haw, Janice, and welcome to planDisney! Camping in the great outdoors is one of my family's favorite activities, so combining all that rustic fun with Walt Disney World Resort sounds magical! Let's look at the equipment you can bring along to make your home away from home extra comfy while you're at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

I spoke to a helpful partner Cast Member at the campground who said the site sizes can vary at the Preferred Campsites. You'll have a concrete pad for your camper that will be about 10' by 45', and there will probably be a sandy or grassy area to stake down a tent.

She said some of those areas for tents are only about 8' by 8', but some are much larger and can accommodate a 20' tent.

Her advice was to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations so the Cast Members can make a note in your reservation specifying the exact equipment you plan to bring. While they can't guarantee a specific campsite, having the notes will help them make the site assignment.

My family has stayed in The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, and having a golf cart is an excellent advantage for stays at this resort. The property is quite spacious, and cruising around on a cart is practical and fun! You can rent golf carts up to a year in advance by calling (407) 824-2742

Janice, I'm sprinkling pixie dust and marshmallows so your next Disney visit is the wildest ride in the wilderness! Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
