With the standard Disney dining plan, if we go to the Toledo restaurant at Coronado Springs and want to order one of the Bone-In Rib-Eye for Two entrees to share, would we be able to do that? If so, would it cost 2 credits or 4 credits for that meal?

    Welcome to planDisney, Samantha!

I'm so glad you stopped by with this fantastic question and I'm happy to assist. Let's dig into all the details together, shall we?

The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to pre-pay for meals before your vacation so all that's left to do is secure your advance dining reservations and feast. In addition to a Resort-Refillable Mug, each guest on your reservation (over age 3) will receive the following per night of stay::

    • 1 Quick Service Meal
    • 1 Table-Service Meal
    • 1 Snack/Nonalcoholic Drink

It seems you've been doing a bit of research since you already know that certain Table-Service Meals like select Character Dining and Fine/Signature Dining require two Table-Service Meals to redeem. Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood, located on to top floor of the beautiful Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, surprisingly does not appear on the list of Fine/Signature options that require two meals per guest. Toledo is a participating location but only requires 1 Table-Service Meal per guest for dinner. Hooray! Pro-tip: you'll be able to review the specifics for any venue and meal period by clicking on the "View Dining Plans and Discounts" link on the landing page for each dining location.

Your Table-Service dinner at Toledo will include 1 entree, 1 dessert, and 1 nonalcoholic beverage (alcoholic included for guests 21+). Unfortunately, I don't have access to the full details of which specific entrees are included on the menu as part of the Disney Dining plan, but I know there are restrictions at certain locations. I reached out to a Cast Member regarding the Chuletón Bone-In Rib-Eye for Two listed on the menu and was told that it should be included. You'll just need to let your server know you'll both be utilizing the Disney Dining Plan when ordering, and 1 Table Service Meal should be redeemed per guest. My fellow panelist Frances was told that select menu items may come with an additional upcharge, and offerings are always subject to change. I recommend confirming the latest details with your server upon arrival.

If you time your meal right you should be able to catch a glimpse of EPCOT's fireworks, Luminous The Symphony of Us, from the outdoor patio at Dahlia Lounge just next door. The indoor bar area also provides a beautiful backdrop to enjoy a pre or post-dinner cocktail.

I hope you have a spectacular meal whatever you choose to order, Samantha. If we can answer any additional questions please don't hesitate to come back and ask us.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
