How can we get to the stable for a pony ride at Fort Wilderness if we aren't staying on property? Will they begin taking reservations?

    Hey Howdy Hey, Courtney!

I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney, and appreciate you for bringing your question our way! I love that you're hoping to visit Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground for a pony ride. It sounds like such a fun experience! My nephew had the chance to do this last year and had the absolute best time. The pony rides are located at the stables and are currently available daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. At this time, reservations are not accepted.

If you're not staying at a Disney Resort, the easiest option would be to take a rideshare service directly to Fort Wilderness. Another option would be to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and make your way over from there. You can take the ferryboat or monorail to Magic Kingdom, and then use the resort water taxi that runs between Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness.

No matter how you arrive, you're sure to have a great time exploring Tri-Circle-D Ranch and experiencing one of the many unique activities that make Fort Wilderness such a special place to visit!

If you're looking for a fun, family-friendly evening that combines dinner and entertainment, you may want to consider booking the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Fort Wilderness Resort. This lively dinner show is filled with toe-tapping music and silly jokes, making it a great choice for Guests of all ages.

Courtney, I hope you have a rootin' tootin' fantastic time during your visit to Fort Wilderness! Thanks so much for swinging by planDisney.
