My spouse is a vet but not retired or disabled. We can purchase discounted Disneyland Tickets on GovX. Are we able to redeem these to get in or will they tell us we are not qualified at the gate? Also, is it possible for me to use them w/o him there?

    Hiya, Yvonne!

Thank you for your sacrifices and service to our country. This year, celebrating America's 250th Anniversary, is a special time to honor veterans and their families.

Hot dog! The Disneyland Resort special offers and discounts help make The Happiest Place on Earth accessible to as many as possible. These offers are updated from time to time. Check back from time to time to see which are the best deals for you.

Two of the Disneyland Resort special offers this year are available only to eligible US Military Members: special Disneyland Resort Hotel rates and specially priced theme park tickets. These offers are limited to active and retired US military personnel with valid identification. This may also include other qualifying former military members such as 100% disabled veterans. Disney Military Promotional Tickets are available only at participating US military base ticket offices or online via the third-party e-commerce platform GOVX.

GOVX users verify eligibility for select special offers by uploading valid identification. GOVX labels this year's Disney Military Promotional Tickets "NEW 2026 Disneyland Resort – Military Promotional Ticket." A user must have a qualifying, valid ID to both purchase and use tickets from that offer, including accompanying Guests in the same party and showing the qualifying ID when activating the tickets at the Disneyland Resort entrance gates.

GOVX offers other savings on multi-day theme park tickets. Creating a GOVX account with verified ID, even if it's not among the same types of ID required for the Disney Military Promotional Tickets, may grant you access to those other discounted ticket offers. The discounted tickets that aren't Disney Military Promotional Tickets do not require showing ID when activating them at the parks and can be used by Guests even if they are not accompanied by the purchaser.

Tony's Tip: I maximize my savings by making multiple transactions on GOVX. Each separate ticket purchase transaction usually includes a complimentary Disney Gift Card. Sometimes, the included offer may be for promotional certificates, which I've found can also be used to purchase discounted Disney Gift Cards. Combine Disney Gift Card eGift cards on the Disney Gift Card website. Then, use them for dining and souvenir purchases at most Disneyland Resort shops and restaurants. You can even use gift cards in your MyDisney Wallet for mobile food and beverage ordering and Merchandise Mobile Checkout at participating locations.

    Happy savings, Yvonne!
