We are considering a trip in November with my Wife and Kids. Are there any first responder ticket opportunities right now? I have seen them in the past, just checking before we book.

    Welcome to planDisney, Jeremiah!

If there's anything I appreciate more than a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth, it's saving money on that visit! I'm happy to share some advice to help you maximize your Disneyland Resort vacation value.

There have occasionally been special offers similar to what you describe, including a limited-time appreciation to heroes of the devastating Los Angeles fires last year. To find the current savings opportunities, stop by the Disneyland Resort Offers & Discounts page. Besides the promotional offers, I recommend looking for savings in other creative ways, including:

    • Purchasing theme park tickets, souvenirs, and even Disneyland Resort Hotel stays using Disney Gift Cards purchased at a discount, such as from select retailers or warehouse clubs.
    • Manage payments on tickets-plus-hotel vacation packages by paying down the balance remaining up until the payment-in-full date about a month before arrival.
    • Look for discount offers through mutual affiliation organizations you may be a member of, such as clubs, unions, credit unions, retiree organizations, etc.
    • US Military Members may purchase Disney Military Promotional Tickets via the third-party e-commerce platform GOVX. Besides offers for current and former military members, that platform may also have offers for law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, government employees, and educators in the United States.

My family visited the Disneyland Resort last week. To make our visit even more affordable, we looked for savings by choosing park days with lower-tier prices for 1-day tickets. We've also found that combining a 1-day ticket on a lower-tier day during a trip with a multi-day ticket for other days of the same trip can help lower the overall cost of tickets substantially.

Tony's Tip: For the lowest 1-day ticket prices in November this year, check out Monday through Thursday of the first two weeks of that month. Or if you are interested in visiting during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, Tuesday, November 17 and Wednesday, November 18 currently have excellent 1-day prices too. Plus, November 18th happens to be the birthday of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse!

Have a magical time at The Happiest Place on Earth, Jeremiah!
