Hello, Krystle!
Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question! A split-stay at
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and
Disneyland Hotel sounds like the perfect plan for a trip to Disneyland Resort.
Guests can visit all Disneyland hotels, including
Pixar Place Hotel, regardless of where they are staying. Fortunately, the three hotels at Disneyland are close to each other, making it easy to visit all of them. Although there are no set times to see Bing Bong, he is often found making core memories in the lobby or at the rooftop lawn of Pixar Place Hotel. I recommend making breakfast or lunch reservations at Great Maple Modern American Eatery inside Pixar Place Hotel. You can arrive early to see if Bing Bong is wandering around or try again after your meal! If you hear piano music while exploring Pixar Place Hotel, head to the hotel lobby staircase where you may catch a glimpse of Disney's most soulful character, Joe Gardner.
Some of my favorite restaurants at Disneyland are located in the hotels. On a recent trip to Disneyland, I ate at GCH Craftsman Grill daily! For breakfast, I alternated between Avocado Toast on Sourdough that was topped with a poached egg, pomegranate seeds, and olive oil, and Brioche French Toast, thick-sliced brioche with vanilla-sweetened mascarpone, fresh berries, powdered sugar, blueberry compote, and chantilly cream. Both were absolutely delicious!
Don't forget to take advantage of the benefits and perks available only to hotel Guests, such as Early Entry! Guests staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels can take advantage of 30-minute early entry into a designated theme park to enjoy select attractions, dining, and shopping locations. Each day, either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park will be open early. Just check the theme park calendar for the schedule!
Krystle, I hope you have a magical trip to Disneyland Resort! Please visit us again if you have other questions!
Magic Happens!
