Hiya, Rosiella! Welcome to planDisney. It won't be long before you are walking down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. It's the heartbeat of a holiday!
I am glad you stopped by with this question about planning
Lightning Lane passes with a split stay. Each
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is so unique and has so many reasons to top your favorites list. Enjoying two different Disney resorts on one trip is truly double the fun!
With a split stay, you can purchase Lightning Lane passes seven days before your check-in date for your first reservation for any day of your whole stay, up to 14 nights. Eligibility to buy passes is dependent on having a resort reservation. If you have family members who are not on the first reservation but coming to join you for the second, they will not be eligible until seven days before the check-in date of their reservation.
As you plan your Lightning Lane Multi Pass strategy, be sure to check out the
list of included experiences. In Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios, the attractions are divided into two groups. You can pick one from the first group and two (or all three) from the other group. Once you have redeemed your first Lightning Lane entry, you can make another selection, choosing any available attraction.
My advice for Guests with different times for booking Lightning Lane Multi Passes is to take advantage of the earliest window. I would go ahead and book Lightning Lanes for any day of your stay for all who are eligible at the seven-day mark. When the others are able to purchase theirs, they can try to get selections close to yours, or you can try to modify your choices and include them in the group. The modification options would be based on availability at that later time, so you might have to change times or attractions. But if there are priorities for certain attractions, I think it is better to get what you can and then decide what you might want to change later.
You picked a perfect time to head to Walt Disney World Resort. You'll be there right as the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival opens. Disney Parks Blog just released its
Foodie Guide to EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. So many delicious options, it'll be tough to choose.
I hope you have a wonderful trip with your family to the Most Magical Place on Earth. We'd love to see you again at
planDisney with your vacation planning questions.
See 'Ya Real Soon!
