Hiya and Ahoy, Kamren! Welcome back to planDisney. I am so glad you cruised by on your way to the most epic of vacations: Disney by land and sea.
I am thrilled to hear you could book your
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and set the gears for "Cruise Control" to speed through some lines at
Walt Disney World Resort before you even head to
Port Canaveral. I will be at Walt Disney World next week - also with a split stay - and spent the morning booking my Multi Passes for all the days of my trip. I was so excited that I could book these for the entire length of my visit, even with two reservations for my vacation. But I know this to be true of split stays without interruption. Are you staying at two different
Disney Resorts Collections hotels before your cruise? If so, and there are no days in between, Hakuna Matata! This convenience is part of the program. If you could book Lightning Lane passes for two reservations with a cruise aboard the
Disney Wish in between, I would be as surprised as you.
I double-checked with a Cast Member and was told that you should be able to book Lightning Lane passes seven days before you check into your resort for the length of your visit, including split stays that do not have a gap. With the
Disney Cruise Line vacation in the middle, your post-cruise stay would be eligible seven days before its check-in date. As Jack Sparrow, one of my favorite captains, would say, "Savvy?"
I hope this helps clarify the timing, Kamren. I love that you will have amazing days at the Most Magical Place on Earth to help ease those post-cruise blues. It is much easier to say "Goodbye" to the ship when Cinderella Castle is on the horizon.
Please sail back by
planDisney as you plan your next adventure! We are always happy to meet you here.
See and SEA 'Ya Real Soon!
