Help we are about to book reservations but is it EDT or EST or ET? What’s the difference

Hey there, Valerie! Can I just say that I feel this question in my core. As we change the clocks back this weekend, I can remember, "Spring forward and fall back," but I never know if we are starting or ending Daylight Savings Time.

Dining reservations can be made at 6:00 a.m. Eastern, 60 days ahead. And Guests of a Disney Resorts Collection or other qualified hotel can make reservations for the entire length of their stay (up to 10 days). Luckily, 6:00 a.m. is listed as Eastern, so whether in Daylight Savings or Standard Time, it's at 6:00 a.m. on the Eastern side of the country. Now, for Utah, I know you are setting your alarm clock to wake up super early for this. Be sure to set your clock back one hour before you go to bed, or you can use the alarm on a cell phone as it automatically updates. Worst case: you wake up an hour earlier than you needed. You won't be the White Rabbit rushing off late to a very important date, but you could miss out on some coveted sleep.

Now to figure out how to change the clock on my oven...

I hope you get the dining reservations you want. Planning our restaurants is the key family activity of our vacation. We all have more favorites than days of vacation. Oh well! It gives us so many reasons to plan more trips.
