I have a split dvc stay. 3 nights poly 3 night AK. No glad. I saw on this message board that I should be able to book lightening lane for the whole stay 7 days out. But cast members on the phone say I won’t be able to. Help! :)

Welcome Home, Adam! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney - I'm so glad you found us. It's always a treat to meet a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, and I'm as pleased as can be to help with your question. Time is of the essence since your 7-day window to book Lightning Lanes is coming up this week, so let's get straight to business!

To start with, I commend you on booking a FIRE split stay - Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is our family's Home Resort and I absolutely adore it. Disney's Animal Kingdom - Kidani Village is another favorite of mine. There's nothing quite like watching giraffes and other wildlife from your balcony in the middle of Central Florida!

As for the Lightning Lanes, you should be able to book for your entire stay beginning 7 days before your check-in date, regardless of whether you change resorts. I actually tested this out myself just last week when I traveled to Walt Disney World Resort for a quick trip - I stayed for one night at a Value resort with my planDisney pal Melissa before moving to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa with some of our pals the next day. I was able to successfully book Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass for the entire stay with no issues.

Adam, I recommend making sure you're using the most up-to-date version of the My Disney Experience app before your booking window opens. If you do encounter problems with your Lightning Lanes, my best advice is to use the chat feature on the Walt Disney World website - the Cast Members there can quickly assist with enlisting some IT help!

I hope this information sets your mind at ease so you can focus on strategically selecting what attractions to enjoy next week! Please don't hesitate to reach out again if we can assist with other questions - our planDisney squad is always here to help. Thanks again for stopping by!
