Cant bank points can move to another interval international. How can I find out how that works and list of hotels

Welcome Home, Andrea! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney - so glad you found us! From one Disney Vacation Club Member to another, it's my pleasure to talk through the ins and outs of how banked Vacation Points can be used. It's a great way to maximize the magic of your Membership!

Although most folks join DVC for the chance to enjoy Disney vacations for years to come, another great benefit is the ability to exchange Vacation Points for stays at not only the Disney Collection Hotels, but also destinations all over the world! This is possible through a relationship with Interval International, a vacation exchange company. Disney Vacation Club Members can exchange points for stays through Interval - there are some important details to know, so let's go through them!

Members may deposit points into an account with Interval up to 45 days before the end of their Use Year. This may be a good option for you if you missed your banking deadline so the points can still be used! Once you move those points to Interval, you will have about two years to use them.

Andrea, if you are hoping to book a resort reservation through Interval with those leftover Vacation Points, the Rule of Four applies in this instance. This means that you can't book a trip within the last four months of your Use Year. For example, I have a June Use Year, which means my deadline is January 31 to bank points or plan a trip with Interval.

To see the most up-to-date list of accommodations available through Interval, navigate to the "Destinations" tab on the DVC website, and choose "Hotel Exchange" or "Vacation Exchange". Select the "Book with Interval Online" button and this will take you to a new website where you can see the directory of available resorts and make a reservation.

If this seems a little daunting, don't fret! You can always contact Member Services and one of the specially trained Cast Members can help secure a vacation exchange for you. They are a great resource to help Members understand how points can be used in ways you may not have thought of!

I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Andrea! I'll be wishing on the Evening Star that you can put those points to good use and enjoy a well-deserved vacation in the not-too-distant future. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, and please come back to see us anytime!
